Italian classical music composer
Met with the piano and the clarinet at a young age, and spent his youth playing in rock bands. His affiliation to folk, electronic, modern and contemporary classical, and his admiration of the black music helped him improve his composing skills. First solo album ‘The Houseboat and the Moon’ came out in 2014, described by ‘Alto Riot’ as ‘pure gold’. Second LP ‘The Blue Hour’ got released through the classical music series ‘Neue Meister’ of the cult record label Berlin Classics. Following the album, he earned a place in the line-ups of the biggest festivals in the world such as Womad in the UK, SXSW in Texas, and Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. He dropped his latest album ‘By the Deep Sea’ this past February. One of the stops of his album tour was the XJAZZ Istanbul Festival, many concerts of which were hosted by Salon. It is time for his winter-cold and dark music that, at the same time, harbingers hope for the spring sun, to fill Salon. You will want to carry his melodies with you for a lifetime, especially if you are into Ólafur Arnalds, Peter Broderick, or Nils Frahm.
Neo-classical, psychedelic, ambient, and cinematic.
