Since the beginning of his solo career, the world has known Thibaud Vanhooland as "Voyou"-meaning “Rascal” in English. However Voyou can be described more like an "anti-hero" who is determined to “replace electronic elements with real instruments”.

He has packed two albums, fourteen singles and two EPs into his five-year solo career. His first album Les bruits dela ville was released in 2019, followed by Des confettis en désordre in 2020 and Chroniques terrestres in 2021. Since then he has also made collaborations with Yelle, Vincent Delerm, Melissa Lavaux, but also the English trip-hop duo Morcheeba, and the American garage band The Black Lips. Becoming more and more precise about his music, Voyou’s melodies or ideas come first before his lyrics. He composes, writes and arranges his songs entirely by himself. In this way he ensures every composition becomes a hidden treasure with deep metaphors under the surface. Voyou will be on the Salon stage for his very first concert in Turkey with his latest album Les Royaumes Minuscules, which is listened to as if the music had arms and wrapped its skin around us, like a friend or an animal.
