Ağaçkakan, known by his real name Burkay Yalnız, embarked on his musical journey in 2004. With a fearless experimental style, he weaves dark, metaphor-rich stories leaving a lasting imprint on the listener’s mind. Blending sharp lyrical prowess with innovative techniques, he dissects socio-political themes, bringing his raw, unfiltered sound straight from the city’s backstreets to his audience.

In 2009, he founded M4NM in Eskişehir, a groundbreaking collective that carved out a major space in Türkiye’s independent music scene. After releasing EPs in 2013 and 2014, he dropped his first full-length album, A Naşkvit, under the M4NM label in 2017. Beyond his solo work, he has also been a key part of roadside.picnic, Sahtekar, and heranherşeyolabilir.

Joined on stage by Çağrı Özer (electric guitar), Cem Konuk (bass guitar), and Yağız Nevzat İpek (drums), he’s gearing up for another unforgettable, high-energy performance at Salon. This time, he’s here to celebrate the launch of Gölge, his fifth album, packed with electrifying DnB, breakbeat, and UK garage sounds.
