Ayyuka existed before the music of the 70s turned into a goose that laid golden eggs. In 2001, they came together in Eskişehir to find a new voice to psychedelic Turkish music, drawing their inspiration from the masters like John Frusciante, Dick Dale, Erkin Koray and Orhan Gencebay. What makes Ayyuka's music unexpected and exciting is that they always push the limits of improvisation. They released their eponymous debut album in 2007, which wandered in the world of rock and folk, and then shared the stage with Sonic Youth and Jonathan Richman. With Sömestr, they experimented with a purely instrumental album and it has become a cult for record collectors. Maslak Halayı, which came in 2019, was the band's promise to be permanent in Turkish music history in psychedelic rock and improvisation, and they made their mark.

An innovative sound that ranges from psychedelic rock to funk, bossa nova and Afrobeat.
