Released in the last month of 2022, Kazaz’s new album Toprak surrounded his audience with the fairy-tale atmosphere we came to know and love. Having crowned his 10-year singer-songwriting journey with nine albums, Kazaz now brings back his most beloved and newest songs to the stage. In his music, you can hear some carefully picked elements of European and Anatolian traditions. His profound vocal timbre merges with melodies that become addictive. Nostalgic songs by well known artists and bands that Kazaz feels deeply connected to such as Marc Aryan, Asu Maralman, Ezgi’nin Günlüğü, Grup Gündoğarken and Levent Yüksel also find their place in the expanding repertoire of him and his orchestra.
