An Istanbul-based singer-songwriter, blending alternative rock and electronic music into a deeply personal sound shaped by a life lived in and through music.

Born in 1998 as the child of musician parents Dilara and Burhan Şeşen, Dilhan quite literally grew up immersed in music. She picked up the guitar during primary school, an early visit to her father’s studio, where she recorded High School Musical tracks with her brother, planted the seeds of a lifelong bond with sound. After recording Gök Mavi with a close friend in the coastal village of Gümüşlük in Bodrum, stepped onto Istanbul’s stages. Releasing a series of singles including Acıtır Yara, Sıcaklardandır, Kaçtım, Olta and İsimsiz Çocuklar Ülkesi under Sony Music Türkiye, transferred to Gülbaba Records, where she released her debut album Kumdan İnşa Putlarla in 2023. In 2024, her reinterpretation of the renowned pop lyricist Mabel Matiz’s Şeker resonated as a powerful voice for those pushed to the margins. Lines by Küçük İskender that she encountered in a second-hand bookshop in Beşiktaş opened new creative paths, leading to the song Her Meyve Bir Yara. She also revisited Laleler Beyaz, a song by ‘Sakin’, carrying its quiet darkness into the present with renewed emotional weight. In 2025, Şeşen began working with Contrapol Records and released the EP Kaçak Elektrik in the same year; she is now working on a new album as a continuation of this line.
