Timber Timbre is preparing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its unique cinematic world, marked by dark and melancholic rhythms. The project, initiated by Taylor Kirk with self-made recordings in a small town in Ontario, took shape with the release of the album Cedar Shakes in 2005 and found its path with Medicinals in 2007. When ‘Magic Arrow’ from the self-titled third album was featured in Breaking Bad and The Good Wife, Timber Timbre’s mysterious and humorous music had gained global recognition. With Creep On Creepin’ On (2011), its distinctive darkness continued, followed in 2016 by Sincerely, Future Pollution, the band’s first album to flirt with electronic music. After a long break, the release of two EPs in 2021 marked a remarkable comeback. Timber Timbre’s most beloved album to date, Lovage (2023), brought together contrasting elements in music while staying true to its atmospheric and dark essence.

Mysterious, bleak, and unique rhythms with influences from Brian Wilson and Leonard Cohen, evoking the feeling of a scene from a black-and-white film.
