The super talented Deniz Tekin is familiar with many instruments from piano to side flute, even though she is widely known with her guitar-playing and unique vocals. This vast musical knowledge lies at the basis of her fine music. Deniz Tekin attracted attention on Soundcloud at a very young age, and her amateur recordings received millions of listens on YouTube. During her breakthrough years, she gave one of her first professional concerts at the ‘From Sofar to Salon’ series organised at Salon İKSV. After releasing the album ‘Kozakuluçka’ when she was only 19 years old, she proved her talent at every step. She has interpreted many artists from Ahmet Kaya to Zeki Müren. After recording with Can Ozan, she became a spokesperson for women’s rights in 2019 with the song ‘Susamam’, which was contributed by Şanışer and 19 rappers.
