His first step into the music world was in 1984. After visiting his parents in Germany where he was influenced by the breakdance and hip hop movements, Kabus Kerim stepped up the gear in his music career. His top influences were the prominent figures of rap such as Class Wreckin aka. Dr. Dre, Egyptian Lover, Krs One, BDP, Ice T, Africa Bambaata. He formed the famous band SES with Big Porno Ahmet, DJ Pasa and Servet Alaca. Their joint song Evdeki Ses was a huge hit, and it only marked a beginning for Kabus Kerim. He rapidly climbed the stairs of fame in the hip hop scene when he formed the legendary band of Cartel with Cinai Şebeke and Erci E, breaking new grounds. They made us proud with the Best European Act award of the MTV in 1995, which was followed by the Golden and Platinum Record awards.
