A solo project by musician and producer Övünç Dan.

We first met with the hardcore rock band Kaçak [Fugitive] that featured Övünç Dan on guitar and vocals around 2006, at a time when rock music was said to be dead. They first appeared on the brick-walled, cellar-like stages of Beyoğlu such as Balans, Peyote and Pulp, and instantly became an urban legend with their songs and stage performances worthy of the album title Silahlı ve Tehlikeli [Armed and Dangerous]. Övünç Dan was already a ‘rock star’. In 2015, he planted the seeds of his solo project Kana Kana that set its target as ‘melancholic gothic music with Turkish lyrics’. To feature Can Çalışkan on guitar and Barış Baykan on synthesizers, bass and backing tracks, this debut concert of Kana Kana at Salon will see live performances from their debut album Ölüler Hariç and is rumoured to be open to all kinds of surprises. Definitely the go-to show of the evening, an unmissable concert.
