An electro-acoustic trio in which Istanbulite musician and producer Tolga Böyük, Eralp Güven and Erdem Başer walk in the shoes of a fictional character composing the songs of a fantastic universe.

Chasing new and exotic timbres by infusing their music with the vibrations of time, Islandman’s each stage performance provides a new space for exploration. Discovered in 2016 by the Danish indie label Music for Dreams, the band released their debut album Rest in Space in 2017 following their EP Ağıt. Today, Islandman continues its path as a multi-instrumentalist trio, bringing listeners all around the world the sounds of Anatolian psychedelic. Their last album Godless Ceremony came in 2021, and their EP Bahar heralded spring in 2022. Islandman was featured in the album recorded in Amsterdam and released on 9 March as part of Night Dreamer’s Direct-To-Disc series, together with legendary percussion inventor Okay Temiz and contemporary saz virtuoso Muhlis Berberoğlu. Finally, they set the world on fire with their new EP Popsicle Obstacle, and immediately afterwards they embarked on a 17-concert tour of Europe and the UK, starting in Amsterdam and ending at London's iconic concert venue KOKO.

Electronic tunes and ethnic rhythms, coupled with a shamanic touch and moody guitars will invite you to dance.
