Indie/psychedelic pop-rock band that brings tropical freshness to the hearts of its audience, and is a source of happiness with their songs and presence.

Mertcan Mertbilek and Tarık Töre, who we know from Kilink, brought California Sound together with the palm trees of İzmir, and with the added contribution of Barış Konyalı and Rana Uludağ, Palmiyeler emerged as a cheerful and highly energetic band that guarantees you won’t be able to sit still. Since the summer of 2015, everyone in need of serotonin has met up with the band, as their boundless energy on stage has turned into an organic anti-depressant for the fans. The Palmiyeler story started with their self-titled EP released in 2015. They’ve entered our favourite playlists with ‘II (Venus)’ in 2017, and Akdeniz in 2018, their latest album so far. Towards the end of 2019, a Palmiyeler breeze was in the air again. Their three singles titled “Harika”, “Orman” and “Kalehan” each demonstrate how much the band has refined their skills and left us yearning for a new album. Palmiyeler had previously performed at the Salon as the opening band for Babe Rainbow. Before they go on tour in the US, they’ll be at Salon, and will be in the lead this time!

Summer will arrive in the dead of winter, the sun will rise from Salon with Palmiyeler.
