Composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Daniel Kadawatha leads this vintage-inspired music project, blending exquisite rhythms with a unique sound.

Daniel Kadawatha’s love for music began in childhood, sparked by listening to The Spotnicks on a guitar amp his father bought. He picked up his first guitar at the age of six. In his early years, he played in rock bands, but soon embarked on a genre-defying journey that has garnered over 600 million listens worldwide. In 2008, he launched his KADAWATHA project, which culminated in the 2014 album The World of Hypocrisy. In 2018, he introduced Giant’s Nest, a lounge project infused with romantic undertones and vibrant rhythms. Alongside releasing EPs and singles under his own name, Kadawatha has supported acts like Paramore, Tegan and Sara, and Explosions in the Sky.

With Arc de Soleil, Kadawatha returns to his roots, creating music inspired by the vintage sounds of The Spotnicks and The Shadows, the funk rhythms of Asha Bhosle, and modern influences like Khruangbin. Daniel Kadawatha is coming to Istanbul at the perfect time with his mesmerising and passionate latest project as part of the La Mirage Tour.
