An instrumental jazz fusion band mastering musical twists and turns from Poland, the homeland of Krzysztof Komeda, the pioneer of European jazz.

Błoto, a band from Wrocław, spontaneously created in the summer of 2018 during a drive from Gdansk to Wejherowo through small villages, towns, and forests. They released their first and sold-out album Erozje just before the pandemic. That same year, their second album Kwiatostan was released, followed by Kwasy i zasady the next year. Kwasy i zasady, with its improvisational rhythms referring to interpersonal relationships, which nowadays often have an extreme, corrosive and explosive nature, marked the beginning of a new era for the band, filled with tours and new projects, coinciding with the end of pandemic uncertainty. After a long hiatus, with the release of Grzybnia this autumn, the band focused on social networks, much like mycelium. Following albums that reflected on the struggles of their generation, Błoto launched the We Remember J Dilla project, reinterpreting the beats of hip-hop legend, J Dilla. At the band’s first Istanbul concert, the Salon audience will groove to J Dilla's ‘Blotoish’ rhythms, capturing the band’s unique sound.
