With five albums, countless tours and side projects under their belt, they’re back after a five-year pause since I Feel Alive (2020). Their sixth album Bury the Key drops on 22 August; their first on Ghostly International. It sharpens their signature soft-focus pop into something darker, more urgent. This isn’t hazy and naïve anymore – it’s dancing through an uneasy disco underworld, with lyrics that stare chaos in the face. Toxic behaviour, hedonism, the slow-burn dread of apocalypse, the blur of tomorrow – it’s all in there.
