A Berlin-based festival that unites jazz and jazz-inspired music with passionate sound explorers.

The XJAZZ! Festival was born in Kreuzberg, Berlin, known for its cultural richness. One week a year, the festival transforms Kreuzberg into the epicenter of modern jazz and urban life with its programme spread across the neighborhood. In 2017, it expanded to Istanbul, strengthening the connection between Berlin and Istanbul through music; defying genre, cultural and social boundaries through the power of bringing people together – unified by the all encompassing adoration of music. This year, the festival returns again to Beyoğlu, and introduces Salon audiences to Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange jam project by Australia based drummer Ziggy Zeitgeist and Douniah, with her unique sound from the Berlin soul scene.

A vibrant fusion of the Berlin and Istanbul spirits, and a musical journey enriched by diverse genres and cultures.
